TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR GITE RENTALS

1. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made by phone or e-mail and once confirmed a 50% deposit will be taken to secure the reservation via bank transfer.
The second 50% will be due 6 weeks before your arrival date.
If you are booking less than 6 weeks before arrival, the full price is required to secure the reservation.
If the full amount is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
By making the first deposit you agree to our terms and conditions.
Under no circumstances can the prescribed number of persons per booking be exceeded.
2. Cancellation
50% will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled up to 6 weeks before the arrival date.
Reservations are non - refundable 6 weeks from the arrival date.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances the cottage becomes unavailable on dates booked, every attempt will be made to relocate guests. If this is not possible, all monies will be refunded and no further liability will fall upon the owners.
In the event of a Lockdown due to Covid-19, gouvernment guidelines will be followed.
If you are within your cancellation period, dates can be transferred to a different period of the same value. If the value is exceeded the difference will be chargeable.
It is recommended that you take out Travel Insurance to protect against the risk of cancellation from the time of booking and for medical, baggage cover etc. whilst abroad.
3. Prices
Prices are per week per gite and inclusive of electricity, gas, water and the provision of bed linen and bath towels only.
4. Your Responsibilities
We kindly ask you to respect the gites, gardens and pool area and try to keep them clean.
Breakage’s of crockery and glassware should be reported to the owners immediately, not on the day of departure, so it can be replaced before the following guests arrive.
Breakage’s of electrical goods due to negligence must be paid for.
Please do not arrive at the property before 16.00 and kindly leave by 10.00 on day of departure.
If you expect to arrive after 19.00 please telephone.
5. Complaints
We’ll endeavour to deal with all complaints quickly and effectively.
We retain the right to enter the property at any reasonable time to deal with complaints regarding household equipment and furnishings.
Any complaint after departure must be sent in writing within 14 days of your departure.
6. Swimming Pool - Open May to October - 10m x 5m x 2m.
Communal swimming pool.
Loungers provided.
Pool towels not supplied.
No swimming between the hours of 21.00 - 09.00.
No drinking glasses or glass bottles in pool area.
No smoking in pool area.
Children should be under parental supervision at all times in the pool area - no Lifeguard provided by owners.
The pool is gated and alarmed as per French regulations.
7. Car Park
Car parking is free on site and at car owners risk.
8. General
Whilst every effort is made to maintain good order with the pool and gites for the enjoyment of our guests, we cannot accept liability for damages caused beyond our control, but we will make every attempt to rectify the problem.
Strictly no smoking in the gites. Ashtrays will be provided for external use. If the cottage needs to be fumigated due to excess smoke a minimum charge of 100 € will be levied.
